back to 1999...

Hey, the new dM is just 12 days away. Oct.18 will be a date for me and the Pasadena Best Buy as I purchase Playing The Angel as well as the Batman Begins Two-Disc DVD.

I was listening to Built To Spill's 2001 effort Ancient Melodies of the Future earlier today, and I regret not listening to them before 1999. I don not regret me and other music nuts sharing BTS bit torrents a few months back. Check out TorrentSpy, they might still be running.

1999 was one of the greatest years in recent music history. 1998 looked like a hard year to beat, but 99 came in and gave 98 a run for its money. I write entire books on this, analyzing each record and comparing to previous and/or later releases. Maybe druing winter break.

Keep It a Secret by BTS was released in 99. Although 1997's Perfect From Now On is considered by more hardcore BTS fans as genuinely better in every aspect than KIaS, I am not a hardcore fan and like it better than PFNO. It's catchier. Yes, this is an album that will sound great of you mix every track in different orders.

Here comes my favorite part: the sample music track!

Don't be cheap! Keep It a Secret is only $10.99 at Amazon.com! Daaamn!
EDIT 11:02pm--- You could've bought the cd at Tower Records for $8.99 before today. Shit.
