can't escape the songs in my head

I ahve a few songs bouncing around in my mind. I haven't heard them on any medium for quite a while but they're still hanging on in my brain. Without listening to them, I have them here for you to check it out:

[Edit: Songs are no more!]

Say, I might listen to these tunes after all! Song links expire in seven days (aka the 29th).

You can find these bands' respective records at your nearest record store or Wal-Mart.

my final Comic-Con was swell

Back from my mini-vacation which had me working alot (had?!). My last post was just hours before I went to my tenth and final Comic-Con International. Unless there is anything good at next years Con (i.e. someting big DC or Marvel will cook up by then), this year was to be my last. On the upside, I met authors Brad Meltzer, Marv Wolfman, and even filmmaker Bryan Singer. Below is a picture of the Superman Returns director with my older brother and the penguin:

Yeah, Singer looks that good in real life.

Anycrap, Today's music comes from NES game-cover band The Advantage, from thier recent LP Elf-Titled. Very good stuff for fans of "old-school" gamming, like meee!

The Advnatage - Double Dragon II- Mission 5; Forest of Death
The Advantage - Castlevania II- Woods (aka Bloody Tears)

Finally true believers, here is a picture of comics writer Geoff Johns with the penguin:
