Oh John!

Part two of a special post, remembering John Lennon, a musical pioneer, murdered 26 years ago today. Post-Beatles, John went on to create even more personal music, often with the love of his life, Yoko Ono. Here is just a small sample of his solo contributions to music history. Goodnight, John.

Beatle John

John Lennon was murdered on December 8^th, 1980. This was almost five years before I was born, but like many others younger and older than myself, John Lennon’s music helped me through may ups & downs, and life itself. Today I will be posting two sets of blog posts remembering John Lennon, the first consisting of his work with The Beatles, and the second, comprising of his solo recordings. If you've never heard the music of John Lennon with The Beatles before (I know there must be at least four of you out there) then you're in for a real treat. Peace.
