picture me in ten years time watching
It looks like Anton Corbijn's biopic based on Ian Curtis, titled Control, has finally ready to go, after a successful premier at the Cannes Film Festival this past May. This film, based on the book Touching From a Distance, by Curtis' widow, Deborah (who is also co-producer), follows the life of the late musician; from the beginnings and success with his band Joy Division to his 1980 suicide.
I first heard about the film a few years ago, and I'm glad to see it will be released later this year in the states by The Weinstein Company. In the mood, here are some samples of what to expect with a film of this nature.
